Making Life Better for People Impacted by Cancer in Southern Maine
In 2018, the Dempsey Center merged with Cancer Community Center, a like-minded organization based out of the Greater Portland, Maine area. This expansion opened up the ability to serve cancer patients, survivors, care partners, and their family and friends in southern Maine. As awareness of our services and the need for supportive care grew in Cumberland and York Counties and beyond, we recognized that additional space was necessary to serve additional patients, survivors, care partners, and loved ones.
In 2025, we opened our doors in the Rock Row Health Campus, offering over 7,000 more square feet than our original South Portland location and adding additional space for in-person and virtual services to all.
*Please note that Rock Row officially opens to clients on Monday, February 17th. We are currently closed to the public as we continue to move-in.
